To use Windows CheckDisk to check for errors
- To check a partition/volume set for errors
1. Select a disk and a partition or volume set.
2. Click Operations > Windows CheckDisk.
ServerMagic can only check partitions that it can lock (that is, partitions that have no open files on them). Consequently, the Check for Errors option may sometimes be dimmed (unavailable).
3. To fix an error on an NTFS or Linux Ext-2 volume, highlight the problem, then click Fix.
