Toolbar |
The toolbar gives you quick access to frequently used commands in ServerMagic. Move the mouse pointer over a toolbar button (or a pull-down menu item) to read a brief description of what the option does, in the status bar located at the bottom of the window. Also, when the mouse pointer is over a toolbar button, a pop-up description is displayed next to the button. |
Tree View |
Click Tree View to view the hierarchy of partitions and volume sets on a selected hard disk. Click a disk or partition (Disks pane) or a volume (Volume Sets pane) in the tree view to highlight its associated information on the Disk Map and Partition List. Click a plus or minus sign in the tree view to expand or collapse the partitions, respectively. |
Wizard Buttons |
Click Wizard Buttons to turn off/on the wizard button display near the bottom of the ServerMagic main window. Hiding the wizard buttons increases the display area of the disk map and list. |
Legend |
The Legend is displayed just above the status bar located at the bottom of the ServerMagic window. You can use the Legend to help you understand the different colors used in the tree view, disk map, and partition list. Hiding the Legend increases the display area of the disk map and partition list. |
Scale Disk Map |
Click Scale Disk Map to display the relationship between the size of what is actually on the selected hard disk and a representation of it, in the Disk Map. |
Disks |
Use Disks to display the hierarchy of all partitions on each hard disk on your system. When you use the Tree View, you can click Disks or Volume Sets. |
