Connect to a remote agent
- To connect to a remote agent
1. Make sure you have first booted a remote server using the remote agent boot disks. (Click See Also on the Help toolbar, then click To boot a remote server using the remote agent boot disks.)
2. Click General Connect Remote Agent.
3. Type the local IP address of the server running the Remote Agent.
4. Click Connect.
5. Select the operations you want to send across the wire (dimmed operations are unavailable). For example, you can:
-Move or copy partitions from the local machine to the remote machine.
-Move or copy partitions from the remote machine to the local machine.
-Copy and consolidate volumes from the local machine to the remote machine.
